You know that avalanche of packages I am expecting? Well, it will be a big one, because I am expecting over 30 this week, and today only one came and yesterday's mail just brought two! My friend, Carla sent her tags wrapped up so sweetly. See why it is fun to open these boxes???
My mom used to watch for the mail man everyday like it was a major event. I used to tease her about it, she wasn't ever really expecting anything but bills, and flyers. Now, with all these packages coming to me, post time is becoming the highlight of my day too! My kids were teasing me about watching for the mail lady.

Of course, with these guys now living in the studio, I have plenty of distractions to take my mind off the mail.
Uhm, maybe I need something to distract me from posing pups in odd places? Actually, they seem to enjoy it, and are always pretty pleased to be the one singled out for extra attention. Twinkle simply can't understand why on Earth anyone would point the camera at anyone but her, though.
Thanks for all the puppy names! Keep them coming, every time I have a fave, another good one comes along. And remember, if there are duplicates, those comments will be pulled from a hat to break the tie.
I've added some new things to the Boutique
And toEtsy as well. Aren't these photos wonderful? I love that they were mounted onto pastel cards, not the typical dark colored ones I usually see. I did save a couple to make something with them myself, but kind of think that I like the idea of just laying them in a bowl on the table, not even making them into anything else.
Although, it is hard for me to NOT foof....
Today should be fun, I am making Valentines with Beth. Then going to a movie night with the girls. I wonder if I can sneak a pocket full of puppies into the theater with me??

Oh please don't stop posting pictures of those darling little girls. I love seeing them grow up every day. They just keep getting cuter and cuter. How are you ever going to be able to give them away?
I had to laugh about taking them to the movies because when I first got my little Elton I took him everywhere. Yes even to the movies. Two times. I just put him in my purse and he would lay down. Then once inside I took him out and he would just lay on my lap and be quiet. He would still love to come with me but I would need a much bigger bag!
Hugs,
Joanne

my parents and grandparents watched the mail like this too! Made me happy to send them little cards for no reason knowing they'd be especially happy! I'm sooo late on mailing my stuff Karla! I tried to sneak out to the post office at work yesterday but couldn't leave. I'm leaving home early this morning to get there BEFORE work! I think you should have them by Friday or Sat. at the latest! UGG! I HATE being late but life just got in the way!

I can let my mail sit in the box for days, only getting it when I knew it was too full. Now that I am expecting packages from swaps and giveaway contests, I check every day!

up the driveway…
Love the puppy pictures…

Good comment Mahala. Now, I will think of the puppies when I hear that song.
I love to get "good" mail. NOTE TO SELF... Send more snail mail to people I love.

So sorry my package is one of the ones you're waiting for. Maybe it has arrived by now. Our house is on a corner and the mailbox is on the side street. It's a really long haul from the box to our front door, so I have packages sent to the po box -- easier on our mailcarrier and less wet for us if she just leaves them next to the box(why do packages always arrive when it rains?)!

I could look at those puppies all day long. They are amazing. Old photographs are wonderful but they are most of the time frowny aren't they? I love them anyway. Have a funn day puppy watching.
