How lucky was the girl to be invited to such a charming party! No wonder SugarWings changed her dress so many times with all the excitement! She had to look just right. And the plates on the table... I love that pattern. Do you mind sharing?

I'm still trying to figure out how ANYONE could forget to come to a magical Karla/Sugarwings tea party!!! Are you not the most special grandmother? Sugarwings and Dewdrop are going to grow up with the most wonderful memories of times with you!

Wendy McDonagh-Valentine

Such beautiful memories you're making for your granddaughter. She is so incredibly blessed to have you in her life. The table is so pretty. Thanks for sharing your special day with us. : )

Those are garage sale plates, I picked up a whole stack the other day for ten bucks. I was low on tea cups, and there were a lot of cups with it. Then on mothers day, one of our many messes was cleaning up all the shards of the teacups when they got knocked over and broke! So the tea cups on the table are a series of mismatches.

Oh my gosh, how beautiful is that table? And those plates with the soft blue -- swoon. I can close my eyes and imagine myself right there!

What a wonderful memory for Sugarwings! She will have such great times, remembering this, in the future. You are the greatest of g'ma's!

Sandy

Karla,

I totally believe in a skip day every now and then and you are right, you have another little party girl waiting in the wings to have her special days alone with you while Sugarwings is at school. Enjoy!

Rebecca P.

ALWAYS have skip days. She'll learn more during those days, than she will in a whole week of school!

Susan

What a beautiful setting for a tea party!!

Jane

Oh, what a beautiful tea party!!! Your girls are so lucky to have you - and how wonderful for you to have those sweet little granddaughters! Sometimes a day off from school creates really precious memories along with a different kind of learning - a day such as this special day!

Big grin!

Gorgeous table setting!!! Love the room, is it the dinning room?

How anyone can "Forget" to go to a party of any kind is beyond me!!!

I am glad you guys had fun. You are a terrific mom for doing such lovely things.
