Good goodies

Louise @ Elsie May and Bertha

I have finds like that. Searching for something the other week I came across the lace remnants from my wedding dress, which is now in my lace and embroidery box, which also has another recent find in it of a small stash of embroideries I did before I was married (23yrs ago). Unfortunately, my box of projects to be completed is getting a tad full, so I should really have a bash at finishing some, if I only had the time :-)

I want a craft day with you and Beth! Just want to be around your creativeness for just one day! How awesome would that be?? The journals are fabulous and the tag book is a treasure. I know, because I have one of those! Enjoy your getaway.

I love all this gorgeousness here!!! That is kind of funny that you "lost" a whole buffet! ; ) Hubby has been cleaning our lovely (cough cough) garage of mysteries as of late and has stumbled across a few long-lost things himself . . . .

Yesterday, we wandered down our block to visit a neighbor's garage sale, and I scored some jewelry for art projects!!! Yay!

And I would LOVE the chance to win ANYTHING from you!

I am still laughing, cause you wrote;

Who loses a buffet anyway?
Does that mean I have waaaayyy too much junk?)

Oh my goodie Karla, this is so great.
I love it.
I think this will give me a smile all day.

Thank you so much.

Karla, This post was just great...and I completely understand 'losing a buffet.' Sounds so normal to me. I love what you do, have a great love of all things 'bird' and would love to win your giveaway. What fun it is to visit your blog and enjoy you and your 'stuff.' Thank you so much, pat

Lisa

If we think about it, we all have so much stuff! But I think it's fun to find a lost treasure. :)

I'm glad you gave the bugs and spiders a table...didn't they try to stay with the buffet??lol Would love to win you giveaway!!

Donna

Loved this post - it's how I live my life. Beautiful Collage!!!
Peace!

Laurie

Oh this all inspires me sooo much! Crafting with you and Beth and all that antique ephemera is my idea of FUN! The buffet is lovely, but the story is priceless!

Mahala

You sure find some amazing things. I love coming here for inspiration and I never know what I'll get! Beautiful stuff as always! Thanks!

Charlotte

The hutch is perfect to fill up with goodies. Wait! You've already done that. Need another one! I chuckled at the image of you sifting through delights at Beth's, putting something together from nothing, without leaving your chair. I, too, have a pile of left-over odds/ends taking up a good % of space on my craft table. Usually I incorporate some of it, so I CAN'T just throw it away.

Judy

LOL! I could probably lose a piece of furniture too! Yikes! Minimalist I am not...sigh.

Have a great week,
Judy

So is my life right now, preparing for a cross country move to Florida and trying to downsize. Finding long lost treasures that need to find new homes - too bad for me, but awesome for others. I would love to win your drawing. Enjoy your days away!

I love that fellow crafters "lose" things in the shuffle! I feel like a kindred spirit.
Do have a fun trip!

I've never lost a hutch, but recently found a dresser in our barn from our move 16years ago. I want it in the house, but it's on the 2nd floor of the barn and I need help getting down and in the house. It may have to wait until Mr OP goes fishing.

I'd love to win a Karla Nathan original:)Count me in!

Tehehee, you are the only person I know who can lose a great big buffet, you are such a hoot. So glad you found those beautiful art journals though, they are a fest for the eyes.
