Their meals have been supplemented from the beginning and now they are eating dog food, but they still waddle to mama whenever they can. She does her best to accommodate them. At this point, I think its more of a comfort than dinner, they chew on whatever part of her they can, whether it produces milk or not. Her poor belly is all marked up.
But she adores the babies and doesn't want to be kept from them.
No matter how much space they have, they still all sleep in a big pile together. Even when the pile gets so high that one rolls off, like this guy!
It reminds me of that Little Bear song that I sing to the grand fairies:
Five bears in the bed and the little one said
"I'm crowded, roll over"
So they all rolled over, and one fell out
Four bears in the bed, and the little one said
"I'm crowded, roll over"
So they all rolled over and one fell out
Three bears in the bed, and the little one said
"I'm crowded, roll over"
So they all rolled over and one fell out
Two bears in the bed, and the little one said
"I'm crowded, roll over"
So they all rolled over and one fell out
One bear in the bed, and the little one said
"I'm lonely"

They are so darn cute!! I just want to kiss them!!

How precious are those puppies! I don't know how you can tell them apart when they are all grouped up. While I'm sure they are a lot of work, I'm sure they are great fun, too!
I'm enjoying following the story of the "kids"!

Once we got to know them we can tell most if them apart. Sometimes by face color, others by size or attitude.

Karla,
Lily & Philip are looking at your blog with me & dying over those pups! I read it to them & reminded them of the song 'rollover, rollover' & they started singing 100 bottles of beer.??? Wonder what that says about me:)

They are SOOOO CUTE!!! When my kids grow up, and I no longer have to clean up after them, I want a Yorkshire Terrier! They are my absolute favourite! A close second is a Jack Russell, but as had one about 15 years ago, I know how active and springy they can be! Lovely dogs!

I love seeing your little puppy pictures. That is the sweetest thing that they all want to snuggle together to sleep. Oh, and that sweet Twinkle--I'm thinking she deserves a medal!

They are just TOOOOOOO adorable! It is so tempting to want one! I don't think my cats would care for that too much.
