Can't wait to see your travel journal when it's complete. What great memories you will have of your trip!

Judi Storm

I really want to try one of these Journals one day. Also I was wondering if you scanned any of the Mermaid pictures? If so I would like to buy some from you. My daughters best friend is over the moon in love with mermaids. So much so that she's getting a Tattoo of Mermaid flesh/scales(?) on her upper thigh. It doesn't hurt to ask, right. I've loved your updates on FB about your trip. As always, thanks for sharing your life with us. Judi

Sorry, Judi, I was snipping and gluing willy nilly, but didnt scan any of the papers first. I should start doing that more often.

Its been the best! And its the first time Ive ever taken a journal with me to do on the trip, Ive loved that. I dont think Ill ever travel without one again.

Are you on Maui now? I've made little journals to take on my last 3 trips to Hawaii (I know...lucky me...but you'll find that you WILL go back). I do exactly as you say; sit on the lanai, gazing at the sea, and making entries in my journal every day. Which birds did I see; which fish; weather; dinner. I think it adds a nice element to the trip. Bon Voyage.

Oh, I bet your sister-in-law was ecstatic over your beautiful creation for her! So gorgeous. I know you had fun playing around with the techniques to get just the look you wanted.

Hi Karla, look forward to your pics, I have been to Hawaii, several times, would live there if I could! Have a wonderful time!

We kept saying we were never going home! Its a special place, isnt it?

Oh it's lovely...the ribbon binding is to.die.for!!

Lovely!!! I'll bet your SIL absolutely loved her book ~ I can't wait to see it all finished!
Enjoy ~~~

This is just a stunning journal, Karla. I hate to say it but my things from Europe in APRIL are still waiting to be put in a book or used as inspiration for drawings. Three cheers for doing it then and there!
