In this tutorial, you will receive step by step instructions to make a mini dress form from the body, to the stand, plus embellishment ideas.
I'll have videos, photos, and plenty of instructions, as well as scans of vintage papers that you can print and use on your own mannequin.
This photo shows the finished products from a class I held in my studio where we all made one of these little ladies. As you can see, the options are endless for decorating the mannequins once you learn the tricks in building the forms.
Here are a few that I made myself.
Patterns for two kinds of wings, fairy and angel will be included. These little gals make lovely Christmas angels too.
Papers will include scans of an old, original French document, multiples of interesting text pages and sheet music, as well as some vintage wallpaper and gift wrap florals.
Your supplies will come from hardware and craft stores, as well as using what you have, or going to a thrift store, garage sale, or dollar store for the last item.
For more information, please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
The cost of the class is $15.
I would love to see what you create with this tutorial! Please feel free to join our Flickr group and show the photos of what you've made in the class.
