Betty @ She's Sew Pretty

Oh wow! You hit the mother lode. I love all of that bark cloth. Beautiful pictures. If I ever go near KC I will definitely have to stay at that hotel...and I'll buy you a cup of coffee too!

Oh, my! You had a very busy weekend. Where do you get all the energy?

Karla, I don't know if I've told you, but I really appreciate the work you put into making an entry into your blog each day. Your blog really adds sunshine to my day.

I especially love the old lace and that tablecloth. The dress is perfect! That hotel is so very special.

What a wonderful weekend! Oh my - that frame and barkcloth?!!?! So amazing - lucky girl!

Hi Karla:
WOW!!! I love the fish, the bark cloth, the vintage silver trim, and the old chair and the gold pin!!!. I want to move to Kansas City. When I reincarnate I want to be your road dog!!!
Thank you for sharing your wonders with us.

That hotel is so scary/cool, what fun to stay there!
And I will never, ever, ever get over the deals you girls in that neck of the woods get on some of the coolest stuff ever! That stuff just doesn't even exist here in AZ at any price!

I fret over what I may have missed at garage sales all the time. The worst is when I'm heading for something fantastic and someone scoops it up right before me! The next best thing to shopping garages sales is looking at someone else's finds. I love that you tell the prices, too, because that's the really fun part.

Karla, what an interesting place to stay!! Beautiful and at the same time spooky looking!! I think I wouldn't even mind seeing a ghost as long as I could have that yummy food!!

All those goodies you found too!! There is something just not right about you finding all the stuff with roses painted on them when you could do your own and I can't. Do I sound a tad jealous here??

Love the sale finds, the little four legged helper is cute too. I really like the hotel. I love those kind of buildings and the history behind them. Somehow a feel of elegance still comes through the neglect. Thanks for bringing us along. By the way, the dress is cute.

Oh the lace... and the barkcloth!! oh what a find!

you look so pretty in your new dress and I love your necklace you made. Those red transferware plates are fabulous!!!! Sounds like you had a nice time.

It has taken me quite a while to read back through your blog and catch up on everything I have been missing. If you could only hear me - oooing and ahhhing with every new picture! That hotel sounds wonderful, what an inspired choice to hold a wedding there! I would love to spend a night or two there!!!

I'm feeling guilty for not going yard saling this weekend LOL!
I love that blue frame too...and that crown! The bellas will be jealous...(a little rhyme :)
That hotel! Wow you described it well too...and the meal...wow again! I love their dishes!

Gumbo Lily

What great garage sale finds. I especially like the bark cloth.

Wonderful pictures, great finds, and another lovely read that makes my day

Oh my goodness!! So much beauty under ONE roof!

You know that tray? I used to have one. I wonder what ever happened to it.

But back to the hotel, I love their dishware! And the FLW Glass... o'mgosh!!!!

Karla, you are so pretty! And your posts are such fun to read. I feel like I was right there with you. And you KNOW I'm into "full wedding mode" right now til November when my daughter gets married. Love that cake!

Karla! What a great deal you got on all that fab stuff! So Jealous!

I did not know you were so close to KC! My BF lives there, she just moved their about a year ago and works at the Harley Plant there. I loved it there when I visited with her earlier this year. We are planning a trip later this year or early next, I would love to meet you and see your stuff! We might even stay at that hotel!

Have you been to Urban Arts and Crafts, http://www.urbanartsandcrafts.com/? Very trendy craft store just outside KC. If you go, see Courtney, http://addartmovement.blogspot.com/. She's very cool.

Happy 4th!
