Poor little Sugarwings~ Hope she gets well soon. Leroy has a cold (in the middle of Summer, go figure) and they do try to play...
Love the goodies you made that you got bac from Somerset Life magazine, can't wait to see them in there.
The bottles and birdies are so cute!
Not sure if my email reply came back to you but I've been getting them bouncing back but more than a week later. So I think they go through and then 9 days later I get an email saying you didn't get my email, it's so frustrating!

Deena Warner

I hope Sugarwings is better soon! And I can't believe what you found down there in VA!!! Craig said it would be expensive to shop down there, but he was WRONG! I'm so jealous now. And the post about your mom is really sweet. I see where you get your personality from! I can't wait to see if you do your steps like the ones you saw and have fund with all the little treasures!! I am sick and need to go crawl into bed!

Poor little sugarwings... I hope she's lots better soon. I've been sicky sick sick, since I got home from CHA also..and it's been a bugger!
Love those little folders, and the birds are darling! I've missed things over here... but now that CHA is over... I'm catching up...and it's GLOREOUSSSSSS!

LiLi

I do hope that Sugarwings and you can play again soon! Best wishes to her too!
It's so much fun to see that I'm not the only one who is addicted to vintage wallpaper, lovely shaped bottles, buttons especially the mother of pearl ones, old fabrics, baubles, ephimera and so on. People I usually meet in real life think that I just keep everything and collect 'garbabe', they just don't see the beauty of these lovelies. Keep those inspiring posts coming, have a nice day!

Pherenike

Wow you have had fun, what amazing finds! Imagine living with that paper on your living room wall!

Victoria

Best Wishes to poor little sugarwings, hope she's back to playing soon

Victoria

María Elena

Pretty treasures that you found! Poor baby, I hope that she is better soon.

Julie

Poor little Sugarwings! I'm sure there's no better cure for what ails her than the pure love of her grandmama. Enjoy all of your new treasures and I love the little fawn. I say keep it up all of the time!

Love,
Julie

One look at sweet sugar wings and I knew she didn't feel good. Gotta love that she's a girl, still wearing her floral hat. I have that same brown teddy bear and mine is just as worn. I am so amazed at how you can take every old things and make everything look lovely. The bottles will look great when you are done with them. In the post below...I drooled over all the antiques. The white table is gorgeous and at a great price!

Jeanie

What a trip and what a great mail call when you returned -- love your fun finds! I confess, they look like lovely sugarplums.

Speaking of which, hope Sugarwings is feeling better very soon. I have to admit, even in her sick state, she looks adorable. (I, on the other hand, always look like I went through the spin cycle of the washing machine when I'm not up to par. That, or the walking dead...

On a related note -- when cruising for something else at Michael's, birdhouses kept being in my path. I've been thinking about your birdhouse bling ever since I read the post and think that has to be on my upcoming project list -- it's just too fun1

Poor baby, hope she's better soon. In the meantime-enjoy the snuggles! I love your idea for covering your sofa. I saw some ladies in Joann's last week with the most gorgeous vintage fabric they got off e-bay. Evidently I need to check it out!

Nan

Poor little sweetie pie. I hope she's better soon. Love all your goodies.
Hugs,
Nan

Hello
Thank you for visiting my blog the other day (via Cottage Magpie's Pink Post Challenge). I just love your blog. So many pretty things to look at. I hope that your grandaughter feels better soon!

Raised In Cotton

Little Sugarwings, bless her little red nose and sweet tears. The cold and flu stuff is hard on adults let alone a precious baby. Love those bottles and buttons.
Hugs,
Carol

First tell you Sugarwings that I am sending the good health fairy to perch on her door to make certain she returns to good health. So sorry she is ill. Such a darling.Your blog is liking flipping the pages of a high end cottage home magazine. I love what you have done with it and I also love what you find. What an eye you have and you know exactly what you will do with everything. Now please send me those steps with the wall paper. I could really use those and I would love looking at them daily.
Have fun today.
Pat

Alison Gibbs

Oh Karla! That little photo of Miss Sugarwings is sooo sad (but she's SO DARN CUTE in it though)!!! All FOUR of my kids are sick this week... all droopy, tired... and this was supposed to be vacation week. At least they aren't missing any schoolwork - that's the bright side. Hugs to that sweet grandbaby!!!

Felicia

Poor little sweetheart! Hope she feels better soon :)

Cindy

Poor little sweetheart, I hope she gets back to her old self soon. Love those little folders too! : )

I sure hope your fairy grandbaby feels better soon Karla. She's so sweet, and usually so sparkly. I can tell she feels pretty bad, from your photo.

I like all of your pretty things very much. The sun has been shining here a lot lately so hopefully spring'll be heading your way soon!
