Now that the puppies are getting more interesting, Sugarwings has become totally infatuated with the babies.
And who can blame her? I'm smitten too. Soon, I will move their nest out to my studio so we can spend the days together while I work. The more the pups are snuggled, the better dogs they will be when they grow up. I raise puppies to be loving and social, so that involves a lot of lap time. Its a tough job, but some body has to hold the dogs all day!
On a less fun note, I'vebeen cleaning my house, uck.
Tonight I am hosting book club, so I wanted to kill two birds with one stone and take photos of the house while it was cleaned up, since that rarely happens! I'd show you some of the pictures, but they are for something else- I was invited by Sandra to be featured as her "Jewell of the Month" for February. Wow, Miss February! As much as I hate the cold and winter and the doldrums that go along with that, I love February. Mostly because of the 75% off clearance chocolate on the 15th.
Might explain why my house is Miss February, but I will never be that....
Besides slaving away over housework and puppy holding, I also was knee deep in website set up this weekend. OMG what a disaster I had with that. I was all done, ready to open and for some reason, all my photos scrambled up.
So, now a redo and a clean up before I can open. I'll let you know when it is ready. I'll throw myself a big ole grand opening bash when it is ready! Although, that might just mean me sitting here at the computer with a glass of wine and a few puppies in my lap. Well, that isn't such a bad way to celebrate!
Okay, I'm off to make up trays of food and light candles for book club.
awwwwww' what a sweet photo.
Congrats Miss Feb

What sweet puppies! Sugarwings is as cute as ever....heard you are opening a shop. I had my designer get me all set up via papa shops...she walked me through it all. I am sure you figured out by now that you have to go in and update your inventory each time. If you leave a zero...it really messes things up.
I have found it is not to hard to navigate...I just hate resizing my picks and adding all the tags to the description. Etsy is very easy so I still maintain a shop there and on Lollishops too. you get a lot of traffic from the highly recognized sites...it will take time on your website but at least you will not have to pay a listing fee just your monthly host fee.
Best of luck to you and can't wait to see your website~Sheri

Hi Karla
Your grand daughter is getting so big and she is such a beauty!
I enjoyed reading "Marley & Me" recently.

I don't think I would be able to get anything done with sweet puppies in the house! I'm sure Sugarwings is great at puppy cuddling.
I also loved Marley and Me!
Blessings,
Lorilee

What precious photos of sugarwings and the babies. If I lived near you I would be first in line to hold the puppies for you. What a terrible job! I love to read, especially mysteries. What book is your book club reading?
Congratulations Mz. February , can't wait to see the feature of your home, and your website. Have a great evening snuggling puppies.

Who needs chocolate at 75% off. I will probably still have a Christmas chocolate stash. My jeans are getting tight , so I am rationing it now. lol
Congratualtions Miss February. Do you get a sash and crown? A dozen roses?

Good thing I am not your neighbor! You would have Sugarwings and me snuggling those puppies all the time. Looking forward to you opening your shop site.

Hi Karla, I have been out of the loop the past couple of days.
Good Books, well tomorrow night I am hosting a book discussion on *The Shack* by William P. Young.
I highly recommend it and would like to know what you think if you have read it.
Now to the puppies, if the is a word beyond adorable, then that is the one I would use to describe them. Such cuties!

What's your book club reading? That photo of Sugarwings and the puppy is dear! Sorry getting the shop up was such an ordeal, but hopefully the big problems are over and you can just coast and create from here!
