I'm sorry if you have tried to buy from my boutique and haven't been able to complete your purchase. I am working on the glitch and hope that it is fixed. If you do have any problems, please email me and I can sell the item to you directly instead of through the website. Sorry about that!
I'm still not feeling well. Today I made it out to the studio to visit and feed Twinks and her little last pup, but didn't have the energy to play with them. Luckily, my husband is in town and took the girls for a romp and a run in the field. It is a beautiful day and they deserve a break.
Looks like she got plenty of exercise, she seems worn out!
Even though I was feeling pretty bad yesterday, I worked on some more of the ledger books that I bought from Beth.
After doing a few pages, I gave up and went back to bed.
Probably, if I would just STAY in bed, I'd be getting better sooner. But, on the other hand, I'm not exactly doing anything strenuous, and doing this little bit of creativity cheered me up.
But not today. I can't quite seem to muster the energy. So, I have been listing more items in the boutique, I just HAD to do something. There is only so much laying around I can take. Although, now that I am done, I think I will spend the rest of the day with a cup of hot tea, a good book and a pile of Dorkies.
Yesterday I listed a few wallpaper packs. Both of them include some of my "Rachel Paper". The lady I bought it from said she also sold a roll of the same one to Miss Shabby Chic herself. Can you guess which it is?
The blue one with the white rose. I wonder if we'll be seeing this design on bedding?
Today I mostly listed old jewelry. I had previously cleaned and photographed it, or I wouldn't have gotten that far today!
This one will be hard to part with!
Hey, did you hear that Somerset has another magazine coming out??? This one is to be called the "Gift Club" and will feature pretty gifts and packaging ideas. The editor asked me if I was interested in submitting something, and of course I am! This is right up my alley. If you have bought anything from my shop lately, you can probably tell I enjoy wrapping things up uniquely. I might send her one of the ledgers I am making, those sound like something that could make a lovely gift.
Okay, that pile of Dorkies and cup of tea are calling out to me pretty strongly about now. And a shot of Day Quil sounds pretty good too. I'll leave you with some more photos of the new additions to the Boutique, then head to bed.
The whole world seems to be sick. You managed some awfully pretty pages in your journal and I understand how a little glue and paper can make you feel better. Even if you can barely sit up. I hope you can sit still long enough to get better:)
What on earth is a Dorkie?

Bless your heart! I hope you get to feeling better soon! My 14 year old son called me from school today sounding pitiful...he has come down with a head cold and I sent Daddy to pick him up. He is now settled on the couch under a blankey with a Harry Potter book. I think I will go take my vitamins now! Blessings- LillySue

I do hope you are on the mend soon Karla! Though I think even when you are sick you have more energy than anybody else! The ledger looks more and more beautiful! I was planning to make a book again and give it away again, I get so inspired here! Too bad that Stampington charges way too much for us foreigners for shipping and handling.

Feel better Karla... Somerset has ANOTHER magazine coming out you say?!? Sounds like a good one.
Boy, they must be rollin' in dough. They don't seem to be affected one bit by the economic crisis. Wish I worked there. :-)

I agree w/ the person who said the whole world is sick right now, except me. And I have a compromised immune system!
My nephew said 8 kids in his math class went home sick today. And those are 8th graders!

I was sick for three weeks at Christmas and I had no energy at all. It was viral bronchitis. It ruined my whole Christmas.
I sure hope you start feeling better, soon. At our age, we don't have time to be sick. LOL

Karla, I hope you're not getting the flu that I have - I've had a fever for 3 days now. Thank goodness for blogging therapy! Well I do hope you nip it in the bud and are all better soon - your crafts and your puppies need you! Oh, and I can't wait to see you in the new Somerset Magazine.

Karla, I hope you are feeling better soon. It's such a royal pain when one doesn't feel up to par. To much you want to do and heaven help us, we have to spend extra time sleeping. But, on the up side, you can dream of new creations.
Hugs Karen

Hello Sweet Karla! Sorry you've got "it". I have gotten through the last two winters unscathed (not easy in the nursing home, credit it to handwashing and an apple or two a day)....who am I kidding, it has been dumb luck. First of all, I think you need to hide away the last puppy and keep her. Tell the new owners that the gypsies took her, or a group of Insane BlogWomen came and got her. What a sweet, sweet thing. Someday I will tell you about the final pup left in my final litter of German Shepherds, he was a pistol. Anyway, that journal is absolutely lovely, you inspire me so! I am really, really, Really trying hard not to buy it, I hope someone with a better cash flow weakens and buys it first!!! Your work is just the best. Every morning I wake up to the girl looking for fairies in the blue mirror, she set the decor of my whole bedroom redo! So even though you are feeling yucky, remember how many of us think you rock! Feel better soon! Your Friend, Bobbi
