Jodie (everything vintage)

Poor little Sugar Wings!!!!!
(scratch scratch)

I hope you have a wonderful time (I know you will) and have a safe trip to and from.
All of your goodies are gorgeous :)
I can't wait to hear all about it upon your return.

Poor Beth.

All your little mermaids are so pretty...the rest of the gifties are too! Lucky girls! Thanks for the cute image...she's perfect for summer. And speaking of the little mermaid, the first thing I thought of when I saw the comb was that you made Beth a dinglehopper, but then I guess it would have been a glittered fork? :)
Can't wait to hear about your trip and I wish I could've been there for Sunday's bus excursion!

Frickets!!! That is too funny!

I've never had a friend with frickets!! Loved this post and the beautiful items you made to take along. It makes me wish I were there! Have a wonderful and artful time.

Your Mermaids are lovely. They look as Manhattan Beach-y as they come.
As kids, we used to walk to Manhattan to swim and walk out to the end of the Pier. Ah, what memories.
In fact, we girls took our paperdolls down to the beach to play with them.
Hugs & ♥♥♥s.
thanks for the memories,

Oh Karla, that comb is a "hoot"! Will Beth laugh??
Poor Sugarwings......(hugs to her). Your mermaids
are so pretty and unique. I HOPE you make some when
you return to sell to us. I know you are having a wonderful
time. Enjoy!

Those ballerinas turned mermaids are darling!

I laughed at the comb and just hope Beth will never have to use it.
When we were young my Mother used to sit us down and go through our hair with one of those and every timne she washed our hair she rinsed it in vinegar. Maybe the smell kept them away. I can just picture the 3 Graham girls going to school with hair braided so tight it probably gave us face lifts and the loss of companions due to the smell of the vinegar.

Have a great time. I went on a CQ retreat in St. Louis last weekend. 15 gals from all over the country and we had a great time except we gave each other fabric, trims, buttons, etc.

sugarwings gets them again try the vinegar rinse. My Mother swore by it.

Loved our talk ... here is to the sons who are really "12" and will see 120!!! !!! Night Night Sweetie, see you at the flea in the a.m . - and oh yes big time social anxiety ---- We all carry a heavy cross in some way. I seem to learn this daily and also try to learn to light and carry a torch of compassion with that cross. As I see you do as it shines so very strong!

I sure love all of your mermaid creations....anyone is just very lucky to get one of your beautiful gifts!!

scratching my head with all your talk about frickets! We have had frickets here back in summer, they are yuk! Wondering if I should go glitter up our fricket comb! Rachaelxo

Karla, that comb is priceless! I know all the lucky recipients of your gifts will be so delighted!
