Karla....the colors are beautiful in the gift packs...I love aquas and any soft pastels in any shape or form. The earrings are lovely. Patty in Kansas PS...you are thankfully missing the awful heat and humidity here in our/your neck of the woods.

Karla,
Those are incredible things to give away. I am sure the receivers were very excited.I love originals, too. I have just become out of control buying old books with beautiful illustrations. Those are just beautiful. I have never noticed mermaids in my books but I also haven't been looking. It's amazing how "related things" just "work." I will have to remember that! i got caught in the spell!
Hugs,
Suz

Karla,

Oh what a wonderful gift pack! Your ocean themed work has been inspiring me for the past month on a project I am doing for a swap. Now I need to put together an ephemera packet and you have given me such great ideas! I have lots of ocean themed stuff, I just need to pull it out!

I love your work. Very vintage and very beautiful. Enjoy the Left Coast!

Paula Laurens

I love the way you wrapped the treasures! So befitting of what lies inside. And those clever little bubbles are just too perfect!!

Jeanie

Beautiful! Love the mermaids!

karen

When I was a little girl, Disneyland had mermaids sitting on rocks brushing their hair that you could see as you were waiting for the submarine ride...they aren't there anymore but I am still convinced that mermaids are real!
I love your little kits! I got the same drink markers in the dollar section at Target a couple of years ago, they are so fun! Hugs, hope you had a bunch of fun! karen....

Charlene

Karla, I was soooooooooooooooooo lucky to win one of your packages of goodies!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!! Thank you for sharing for the event give aways. You are such a sweet generous soul. I was THRILLED to finally get to meet you (& Beth) in person after all this time we have been blog buddies! To just hug your neck & see your precious smile in person was such a treat! I wish we could have spent more time together! And you know... I just might come up for that visit in your studio after all. And remember that anytime you have a hankering to come to Texas YOU HAVE A PLACE TO STAY & your own tour guide. Have a safe trip back. Glad you had a chance to extend the magic. WISH I DID! HUGS!
