Tuesday, we had another craft day. Lately we've been pretty good about keeping up with these. I'm so glad, because they mean a lot to me. This last one was really fun, all of us seemed to be in a snarky mood and we laughed all day.
Beth had this post card with her, and it made me laugh because it suited my mood that day. As an artist, I work alone a lot, and it can be lonesome. Craft days are such a great break from the quiet "good girl" days of slogging away and working alone. Its nice to have a day with buddies when we can crack jokes and be a little rude.
Beth also brought some goodies for our Craft Day Club giveaway. We'll draw a name for the winner on our next craft day, on the 20th.
Leave a comment here if you want a chance to win.
Mary completed a record number of glue book pages last Tuesday. This was my fave.
Her glue book swap is still open, by the way.
Beth worked on this embroidered bag.
The Other Karla did some stitch work too.
While I worked on my two dozen paper mache mushrooms. These are not quite done, I'll have some photos of the finished product soon.
But the prettiest thing all day? Beth's flirty little feathers. She just came from the hairdresser and had some pink feathers woven into her hair.
I had a wonderful "crafternoon" with c couple friends this summer, and it was so fun! I usually work alone, and although I get a lot more done, it's fun to craft and chat with others too!

Hi Karla!
Looks like you girls had a fabulous time! I have always been inspired by the way you make it a point to open your incredible studio up to your friends for sharing craft time - what a blessing for all!! I love all of the girls' projects - they look great. I love the synergy that comes from working, laughing, and sharing together! Can't wait to see the mushrooms that are emerging - they are off to a wonderfully cute start! Thanks as always for the lovely inspiration and joy all around!
Have a great weekend!
Hugs & Blessings,
Becky

I love SNARK and I have no one to be snarky with. The last Scrabble game I let it fly and my hubby got up and walked out. I didn't think it was THAT BAD!
