Happy Grandparent's Day, Karla!

Renee

Oh my goodness...its a Mini-Karla. She is so gorgeous. All smiles around you. What a proud grandmother you must be. My kids loved celebrating grandparents day during preschool almost as much as their grandparents...smiles...Renee

Darn, woman, you just don't look like a grandma, lol! Still, doesn't mean you can't celebrate in style.

Hi Karla,

We too really enjoy Grandparents Day celebration at our granddaughters' school. It is so honoring and refreshing to see this done in an age where it seems sometimes that after you reach a certain age, you are deemed to be irrelevant. And good for you dressing up for the special occasion it really is!! I believe this adds respect to the event itself and this seems to be lacking in our society too these days. Sugarwings looks so proud and happy to have you there!! Our day is Friday and we always look forward to it.

Hey Karla,

I tried making some of the little blinged out birdhouses...come on over and see.

I still can't get that sad picture of sugarwings out of my mind from her first day at school. I assume you found an alternative to full kindergarden for her for this year.

She sure looks happy now in this picture with her grandpa and you.

Grandparents day isn't celebrated by the older classes but I can remember when we did go.

Your kitchen remodelling is coming along marvellous. I can't wait to see it finished. I like the idea of the tin ceiling. It is just so you.

Karla,
How very sweet!!! It is so nice of the school to do that and so wonderful that so many grandparents showed up. Makes me sad that our kids don't get to live close to their grandparents. Enjoy every minute with your sweet little Sugerwings and her baby sister! You are very lucky to have each other!
Hugs,

P.S. Love the sweet photos! I think Sugarwings has your pretty sparkling eyes!

My mom goes to school for grandparent's day with her great grandsons.

Sugarwings must have had the hunkiest grandpa!

Sugarwings has been looking like such a big girl in your posts but she looks like a tiny thing in grandpa's arms! I'm glad you had such a nice day.

Nice to see pictures of honored grandparents! So touching!
