My pal Lisa, sent her first page and cover for our Round Robin book swap, and included some gifts.
Very generous gifts that I just love.
Including some artwork! Anyone who gets a piece of art by Lisa is a lucky person. She's the best.
Here is what she has done for her own book. Now I am supposed to add a page for her, and send it on to the next person to add a page too. This is getting fun already and we barely started!
And speaking of fun, are you LOVING the new fall TV season as much as I am???? As much as I looooove summer time, I sure do love autumn for the television. Survivor is off to a good start, Simon is back, and Zoey is adorable. I'm so happy right now. My DVR is filling up nicely and I'm telling myself that I won't squander it all by watching it at once. After the dearth of programming the last month or so, I've decided to be more careful with my viewing and save some for slow times. (yes, I am a TV addict and I schedule my nights around what I want to watch next. Sad but true)
Hi Karla
Survivor is what I enjoy most on tv in the fall. Well, new Housewives of New Jersey too.
Sending this to people on my favorites list :)
Just want to invite you to a Give-Away at my blog. Visit my website then leave a note on my blog about what you liked best on the site. You could win 4 5x7 signed prints of your choice.
Hope to see you there. Please share this? Thank you sooom much.
Blessings,
Pam

What a wonderful idea. I'm going to enjoy seeing your books come along. Someday I hope to find myself in on something similar, but till then I will enjoy the eye candy. Hugs!

Me too Karla!-big tv watcher and I love Survivor also--team Ozzie or team Coach?? And I assume you mean Simon of Simon and Paula--have you watched the new show Revenge?-it looks to be pretty good. On another note--the RR looks like it will be a lot of fun!

Oh, my, what a wonderful round robin! I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for something like this in the future!!
Me too, I have my DVR set (although I have to be honest I don't watch any reality TV). Sadly ABC axed my soap, All My Children, after 41 years, so now when I take my lunchbreak at Noon, I'll watch the shows I DVR'd.

What a gorgeous round robin journal. Thanks for sharing all the beautiful pictures. I wish I could say I watched tv sometimes, but with active kiddos schedules and my own I don't even get started watching them.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Karla,
I've been away from my computer for a few days, and just got a chance to catch up with your latest posts. And I discovered that I WON YOUR GIVEAWAY!! That NEVER happens to me, so I am thrilled to pieces to have won that collection of goodies. I noticed on that post that the link you gave to my blog was broken (there was a typo in the address). Bummer...I would have loved to have had the visitors after your nice shout-out about my illustration work. How sweet of you! (Do you need my mailing address, or do you have it stored from the paypal label you made for the Birdsong Tag swap?) Anyway, yay! I'm tickled pink.
And yes, I'm a tv-aholic too, and I get giddy over Survivor. Love that Ozzie. Agree wholeheartedly with you assessment in an older post about Picker Sisters. Why aren't they digging thru scrap heaps in California? It seems exploitative and condescending to be poking thru rural areas in the South. Bugs me. They bug me. But I did love the headboard they made from the big billboard sign that said "Dreamland" :-)
And your son is crazy cute. Wow about his weight loss. He's a stud. I just lost 40 lbs and hoping i'll be as successful as he's been keeping it off.
Sorry for the novel I've written here. Can't wait to get my goodies. Thanks SO MUCH.
