There are lots of pretend cupcakes about, but these are the nicest I've seen. What did you use for the icing?
Seeing all of the faeries on your latest posts has put me in mind to have a go at one myself. I'll start with a 2d one in my journal before trying a 3d one though.

I love these beautiful cupcakes, Karla! What a great idea! The flowers and fairies and colors are so pretty.

I am really, really looking forward to hearing about this surprise party.

I totally love the fairies. Curious as to when or how this fascination with them came to you. You always draw me into a dream world when I am looking at your creations & I drift off to my own fairy world. Thanks for sharing:)

As always, Karla, your work is just divine! I love the fairy cupcakes! Wouldn't they be a fun take-away? Just the fairy would be fine enough -- they're really beautiful! How inspirational you have been of late!

I used stryofoam balls topped with modeling compound. Have fun!

Have fun with your fairies, Louise! The faux icing is modeling compound.
