Karla, that is soooo cool!! I really like what you did with it....I have the same feeling about having a way to close off the TV screen, but haven't found anything that will work for my space, so ours sits on top of an old walnut cupboard. I have never tried the primer to glaze technique, but it sounds like it could be a real timesaver for sure. Love what you did with the little cards in the label pulls. You have such a great imagination and what a find with the lace blind on clearance!! Have a great day. Linda

Beeeeeee-u-ti-ful!!!

Nice tutorial and the end result is terrific! Mine is still "out" and I haven't found anything either big enough or worthy enough of jazzing up or even using as is. But this gives me great ideas for future things! I appreciate the tips!

I enjoyed hearing all about the metamorphosis! Oh, and I love the pictures of the details you added here and there. So fun and inspirational.

I was one of those visitors at the Victorian Trading Co. Outlet myself! I'm thinking you must have gotten there right after I left, because "the Iowa girls" came while I was there, and I see your pic above includes them.

I was just walking around the store when I heard someone referred to as Lynn. I looked up and was pretty sure I recognized Lynn from her FB picture; I had never actually met her. I had been given her name as the one I was to make a decorated matchbox for! We had corresponded a bit. I started a conversation and found out that they were indeed Birdsongstresses. So! That was how I first met "the Iowa girls." : )

Love this piece of furniture that you redid. You are just so talented. Love to read your blog.
