Even though I measure and pin I can't sew straight. I always drop to the right, no matter how hard I try! I redo really wonky ones but if it's only a wee bit wonky, I decide it's the 'handmade' look :-) My mum says I get it from my father as he can't see straight either!
Love the new chairs ♡☆♡

I really can't sew very well, either, Karla, but YOUR "I can't sew very well" is definitely several notches above MY "I can't sew very well"! You did a great job on the throne!

I am happy for you that you found the ready-as-they-are chairs! Sometimes it must be nice to feel you can just use something as is. Plus, I have a feeling that they will receive a bit of Karla re-working at some point down the road. It may be ten years from now, but I somehow see it happening. : )

I wonder how long its going to be before you decide you have to do something to those chairs from TJ Maxx.

The throne looks awesome. I have a sewing machine in the attic that hasn't seen the light of day since our sons wore Halloween Costumes. That's all I've ever made - you don't have to be "sew" for those either:)

Have a great weekend!

A very short comment. Yes, you can.

I love the risers on your stairs! Did you paint them or is it some of your vintage wallpaper?

Ah girl... that looks fabulous!

I think you sew, very well!!! I've never done more furniture covering, than a simple throw pillow cover. Your way of "going around" those chair arm holes, was inspired!

Guess by now, people know I love to see peeks inside blogger's homes. Love it! So I love more peeks inside your beautiful home. And I noticed, for the first time, your beautiful tin ceiling, in the dining room. What a gem!
