This is Lori Oles’ take on our first class of the weekend, Lesa Dailey’s “Seven Swans A Swimming”. And as With all of her projects, it has her own spin on it.
Here is how Lisa Phillipi finished hers, it is tucked away with her other completed projects and they all look so pretty together!
This swan was not easy. I did see some struggles in the early stages, but it looked like everyone got through it, at least to the point where the decorating could be finished at home.
As I watched them work, I was struck with what a feat of engineering this was for Lesa to create. It was not top heavy, it stood up nice and tall, and there were many steps to get through.
Seriously, that woman goes beyond artist, to designer, and creative engineer.
I find her extremely impressive.
Thank you for the challenging, gorgeous class, Lesa!
Awwww!! I love the pics and your kind words Karla! I’m truly honored to be invited and it’s always an inspiration to create something that could fit into your beautiful space. I know my projects are a bit on the involved side, but my hope is they could be possible inspiration to maybe apply to other things that batting, glue and other bits might be just what’s called for! Ya never know... I just know I LOVE getting to create with some amazing wonderful friends!! Thanks for having me girlie!!

Great class. My swan is not finished but I hope to complete it this week. And Lesa, you are absolutely on point...the swan is a beautiful project but the process was totally new to me! I can't wait to try to us it to make other things. Thank you!
